Motivational coaching is a type of coaching designed to provide a mentor-like relationship between coach and client. Its primary objective is to guide individuals to set and reach a variety of personal and professional goals. The goal of the coaching process is to empower the clients to take action to improve their lives. Motivational coaches use a variety of techniques to help individuals identify and pursue their goals. For example, coaches may help individuals assess their strengths and weaknesses to determine which goals are achievable and which ones may require additional training or development.
